Temper was founded by a team of serial entrepreneurs on a relentless mission to fix one of the world's biggest problems: metabolic dysfunction. Nearly 80% of the US population is metabolically unfit with conditions ranging from diabetes to obesity and cardiovascular disease.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Temper's web and mobile applications.
- Ensure quality and consistency across the entirety of our application suite.
- Establish best practices and code standards, including increasing our frontend test coverage.
- Work across teams to implement and maintain a reusable component library.
- Manage releases to ensure consistent delivery of new features and bug fixes.
- Consistently look for ways to improve apps and make them easier, leaner, and more efficient.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years developing and shipping applications in React/React Native
- Proven experience delivering regularly scheduled releases to consumer-facing mobile and/or web applications.
- Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/React Native.
- Knowledgeable in web and mobile debugging tools including the network inspector, the JS console, XCode, and Android Studio.
- Familiar integrating with RESTful APIs and utilizing data in JSON and XML formats.
- You always consider responsiveness, accessibility, and a consistent experience across various browsers and devices.
- Experience working with UX designers and are familiar with modern UI/UX standards, styles, and best practices.
- Some familiarity with built automation tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
- Nice to have: Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Java) development.
